Veli LoÅ”inj is a village on the island of LoÅ”inj in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County in western Croatia. Veli LoÅ”inj has a mild climate and caters to tourists. It is located 5Ā km to the southeast of the town of Mali LoÅ”inj, of which it is part administratively. It was an important port and fishing centre until the late 19th century.
